Step 1. Open Netscape 6

Step 2. Click on "Tasks", and then click on "Mail"

Your mail inbox screen will then come up.

Step 3. Click on "Edit" and then click "Mail/News Account Settings"

You will then be presented with a screen that looks like this:

Step 4. Click on the "New Account" button on the left hand side of the screen

You will then be presented with a screen that looks like this:

Step 5. Select "ISP or e-mail provider" and then click "Next"

You will then see a screen that looks like this:

Step 6. Where it says "Your Name:" enter the name that you would like to appear in the from field of your outgoing e-mail's

Step 7. Where it says "E-mail Address:" enter the address that you will be using for this account

Step 8. Click "Next"

You will then be presented with a screen that looks like this

Step 9. For "Server Type:" select "POP Mail Server"

Step 10. For "Server Name:" place in pop.your domain name

Step 11. Click "Next"

You will be presented with a screen that looks like this

Step 12. Enter the user name that was provided to you in your start-up e-mail for your account

Step 13. Click "Next"

You will then be presented with a screen that looks like this:

Step 14. Enter the name that you will use to refer to the account by

Step 15. Click "Next"

You will then be presented with a page that verifies the settings that you have chosen, click on "Finish" to finish setting up the account.

You have now properly set up your e-mail account using Netscape 6
